Dr. Champ

Title: Dr. Champ
Genre: Sports, comedy, romance
2010

Summary: (taken from dramacrazy.net )
Dr. Champ is a sports medical drama that is set at Taereung National Village, which is the Olympic training ground for national athletes. Kim So-yeon plays an orthopedic doctor who transfers to Taereung after she's kicked out from her job at a hospital for unveiling her supervisor's malpractice case. There, she meets up with a reckless judo athlete, with whom she naturally falls into a romantic entanglement. Which, then, is complicated further by a third leg to this triangle, a director at Taereung.

Opinion: I have never watched a rom-com with a judo person who seems to be really righteos, which I like because usually the stereotypical male leads in korean dramas are usually a jerk. I also like the female character which is the doctor, she shows that she's independent and also not the stereotypical female korean drama character who usually is very ditzy, which is not bad, I think it is reather cute but, I like a new different character. This drama made me laugh plenty of times in the first few episodes but seem to drag on in the middle. I didn't like how the story line progress towards the middle, how the characters changed because it was quite annoying and tyhe story seemed to drag on , but It was good nevertheless. I still do recommend you on watching this...It's just depressing at times.

Q10

titlee: Q10
j-drama 2010
genre:fantasy,romance,comedy
Summary: (taken from tokyograph) Sato plays Heita (Sato Takeru), an ordinary high school boy with a kind heart but no real interest in romance. His class is joined by a transfer student named Q10 (Maeda Atsuko), who looks like a girl but is actually a robot. Together, the two end up causing trouble at school, and Heita even begins falling for Q10. what shall he do?

Opinion: this drama is similar to the famous drama (which was originally an anime/manga) absolute boyfriend, only it's the girl who is the robot, which some people might not like, but it's what caught my interst. This drama is pretty interesting and it shows that love is something more than we think it is.
this drama is really cute and I reccommend you guys to watch it (especially if you are a fan of absolute boyfriend

Face maker

j-drama
2010

Summary: (taken from dramacrazy.net) Kirishima, a skilled plastic surgeon who previously used to work for the US Federal Witness Protection Programme. His nickname is "Face Maker." Patients come to him seeking to change their lives, and he grants them that wish with a new face. He doesn't take money but asks for his patients' previous faces as a payment. How would you feel if you encountered someone with your former face?

Opinion: At first, I refused to watched it because at first, when I saw the picture, I thought that he was holding a cut-off head of someone, and I hate horror because of the fact that I can't sleep at night for a lot of days after watching one, but then I ran out of dramas to watch so I decided to read the summary, and it caught my interest. So, I decided to watch this drama, and I'm glad I did. Facemaker was the kind of drama that has twists and turn and it kind of has a dark side to it, but it teaches a lesson and it's kind of fun to watch because what usually happens in the end is very unpredictable, also I like the fact that it's pretty different.

Title: reinotyokusha odagiri
j-drama
genre:comedy

Summary/story line: (taken from dramacrazy.net) Odagiri Kyoko is a charismatic psychic who is envied by many fans for her beauty and confident words. On this day, she pulls off a reading of a big actor on a popular television programme, drawing cheers from the audience. However, in contrast to this flamboyant appearance, Kyoko is actually an ordinary girl who is plain, timid and exudes no aura. Because she has been made to do her present work against her own will by Ibushi Kaoru, who is her cousin and also the president of an entertainment agency, she would often run away from the venue. On this occasion, Kyoko is to be forcibly brought back by a black-suited gang on the orders of Kaoru. Meanwhile, Kyoko becomes acquainted with a man called Taniguchi Ichiro, who happens to be in the male toilet that she took refuge in. She quickly asks for his assistance, but is sadly floored in front of the black-suited gang and overcome by Kaoru?s assertive instructions. A library at a prestigious female university is said to be a spot for psychic phenomenon. According to the female professor, Takamine Ayako, there have been a string of baffling molest cases inside the library, and the female students who had been attacked all testify that it was the work of a ghost. Kyoko disguises her identity and begins her undercover investigation as an assistant programme director. In that instant, an apparition appears in front of her. Kyoko is thrown into a panic, but for some reason, Taniguchi turns up. It seems that he came to deliver Kyoko?s tiara, which had been dropped in the toilet. The two of them investigate their surroundings despite their fear of ghosts, and discover footprints which appear to be human ? ?!?

Comments: I think that this drama is one of the funniest drama I've watched, it's also very unique which I like. The girl main character is so adorable that you just can't help but root for her. At first, I wasn't sure whether I'd like it or not, but I gave it a go. The very flmaboyant picture is the one that got me to watch it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have watched it because the summary really didn't appeal to me, but after watching it I was like...I'm glad I did....

Meanwhile, her father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by his old friend, Jung Suk, who had just returned from considerable success in the Japanese entertainment industry. Jung Suk, who had harboured a secret love for Mae Ri's mother, sets up a deal with Dae Han to have Mae Ri marry his son, Jung In. In her desperate to escape this predicament, Mae Ri begs Moo Kyul to pose as her husband, and finds herself in even more trouble than before when her father proposes a 100-day period in which she has to divide her time equally between Moo Kyul and Jung In, after which she has to decide who to marry.

Opinion: I think this drama is really cute. The two main characters are Moon geun yong (from cinderella's sister drama) and Jan geun suk (from youre beautiful drama) are one of the most phenomenal actors ever. I love both of them and theyr'e amazing in here. You won't be dissappointed when you see this drama, if your'e a fan if rom-com dramas :) I love the story too :)

Summary (taken from mysoju.com)The drama tells the story of Kim Joo Won (Hyun Bin), an arrogant and eccentric CEO who maintains the image of seeming perfection, and Gil Ra Im (Ha Ji Won), a poor and humble stuntwoman whose beauty and body are the object of envy amongst top actresses. Their accidental meeting, when Joo Won mistakes Ra Im for actress Park Chae Rin, marks the beginning of a tense, bickering relationship, through which Joo Won tries to hide a growing attraction to Ra Im that both confuses and disturbs him. To complicate matters further, a strange sequence of events results in them swapping bodies.

Comments/opinion: My first impression wasn't really good after reading the summary, but since it was on the top 10 dramas in this site I usually watch my dramas in, I decided to give it a go. I was happy to see that the leading man is from the drama, my name is kim sam soon because it was one of my favorite dramas of all time, and he was a good actor. I think they casted awesome people in this drama. I love the first episode. It started off so good, that I just kept on watching until I had to wait for the next episode to come out. To tell you the truth, I really don't like the concept of the whole switching bodies because the story was already really good and they didn't have to add like such a big twist to it...and it just bothers me because it's wierd and I had no idea what the point of it is, but it was nonetheless one of the greatest drama I've watched. :D You romcom fans out there I assure you, you won't be dissappointed ;)
